Hello, I am Suratman Alimuddin known as travel photographer that live on Makassar, Indonesia. Now I declared myself as Visual Documenter who do some visual art work such as Photo Story and Video Documenter

I first got to know photography since 2009 when I was in high school, at that time I still borrowed Alimin’s camera, my best friend since grade 1. The first camera I managed to buy thanks to the “Bidik Misi” scholarship at Hasanuddin University was a Canon EOS 1100D in I first went to college in 2011. I started studying photography seriously at “UKM FOTOGRAPHY UNHAS” since 2012. My interest in photography has grown since joining the Instanusantara community in 2015. And since then I have started traveling from destinations to destination, from festival to festival. I got my first photography award in 2016 at the national photo competition event in Mamasa district, West Sulawesi.

Long story short, the journey of my photography work is slowly improving. On the way, I worked with Fujifilm and Instax as the Visual Artist. During this Pandemic period, especially entering the new normal time, I again received various offers from several brands. For now, I’m back to Using Canon Cameras for some time to come.
